    Hi there.

Take a tip from the experts watch interviews, on TV, documentaries, anything with People talking, relax, if your script is interesting then be excited, DON’T just talk into the camera for the sake of talking Watch the good and bad ones on youtube, some people waffle on about nothing enough to send anyone to sleep, others are excited about the information they are giving.

write a script know what you are saying there is nothing worse then people going umm! errr! long pauses, be fluent, and speak slower then normal (just a little) and very clearly,DON’T mumble.

    Good luck

This may sound really silly, but it works for a lot of people. Take a paper plate and cut a hole out of the middle. This is where you will attach your video camera lens. On the paper plate draw a face. Now when you talk to the camera it will feel like you are talking to a person. You could name your new plate-person-friend something silly. That way you will smile when you look at the camera. Also, you could just put a real person’s photo there – it works just as well. Good luck.

Look just over the camera, or else it will seem (when viewing) that the audience is being stared at.
