I do not want to be mostly (though I sometimes) but I think the job opportunities and do not encourage collecting business. I’ve always done quite well, but my motivation for various reasons has disappeared. Have you been in this position? What did you do?

People burn out in sales pretty quickly. Maybe it’s time for a career change. You can’t force interest or motivation.

Honestly it sounds like you aren’t challenged enough. Why not try making goals for yourself. Like. . I’m gonna sell this much this week! And see how you feel when you reach the goal. Honestly, if you still feel crappy after that, I would suggest another career path. Good luck.

When is the last time you took a vacation? Maybe you need to take a week to clear your head and start fresh again

Try taking a week off. Have your self a vacation. I’ve been in a sales position for a little over 2 years now, and if I don’t get away every few months I go a little crazy.

Maybe go to school after hours or apply for some new jobs just to see what’s out there. Just because you apply other places doesn’t mean you have to leave.

I was feeling that way… It was time to get out. I did for a year, and came back to my industry refreshed and motivated. Sometimes it’s hard to accept that it’s time for a change, but that’s what I hear in your statement.

sometimes its great to explore more in the field that youre at. It helps even when you interact with other people who will in a way inspire & even relate to your other skills that you can engage to your job, which might bring that spark back. Otherwise, myself, i just left the job & i’m doing something diffrent & learning different things which is a challenge, which is what i like.
