Why a small business CEO’s attention focused on profits and less on social objectives, rather than large management companies do?

generally the small companies are in do or die situation when compared to large companies due to intense competition in market

Actually it’s the other way around. It’s the small business owners who concentrate on giving their customers a good product at a fair price and customer service which keeps the customer coming back.
Once the business starts growing and expanding, the owner starts cutting corners here and there thinking of nothing but profit and makes customer service suffer.
Concentrate more on keeping your customers happy and they will take care of you by keeping that profit rolling in steadily
