Start blogging about a subject that you are an expert on and put AdSense advertising on the pages to monetize your site once popular you could even sell advertising spots on those pages.
If you have a deep knowledge of a subject you could create an e-course on that subject using written material and use audio and videos to enhance the product. You could even create a membership site where people would sign up to receive regular information.
It is advisable to have several streams of income from the internet, then if one source dries up you always have other forms of income you can rely on.
One thing though when first setting up an earn money through internet business make sure you concentrate on one project at a time finish that one and then go onto the next, you will see much better results.
