What You Should Know Before You Join PLR Membership Site

Article by Zachary R. Skinner

One of the fastest and best ways to get quality content quickly is to join a PLR membership site. Finding PLR membership sites to join is not a terribly difficult task. All you need to do is go to Yahoo, Google, MSN, Dogpile, or some other search engne and type in “PLR Articles” or “PLR membership site” and you should have no problems locating PLR membership sites to join. Prices range from a month to a month with the average being in the to range. At the time of this writing, PLR content is currently very popular and profitable and I have every reason to suspect that PLR membership sites will likewise become very popular.

Because of rampant fraud and widespread deception I also suspect that many of the emerging PLR membership sites will be, for lack of a better word, rip-offs and not be worth your pocket change. Therefore it’s very important to consider a few things before you fork over your hard earned cash.

Here is a helpful checklist of things you may want to consider before you join a PLR membership site:

1) Do they limit the number of members?- Most PLR membership sites limit the number of memberships available. Some PLR membership sites do not set limits on the number of memberships that can be sold. Obviously the more people who have access to the same articles the less unique your info product will be and thus the less money you will ultimately make.

2) Do they allow you to sell PLR rights?- You do not want to join a PLR membership site that allows you to also sell PLR rights to their content. This means that even if the site does limit the number of memberships the articles will still be widely distributed thus diminishing the uniqueness of the articles.

3) What are the restrictions on the articles?- A PLR license is not necessarily a license to anything you want with the articles. Different membership sites place different restrictions on what can and can not be done with their articles. Ideally you want to select a PLR membership site that allows you to do anything except sell the PLR rights to the articles. You want to be absolutely certain that you have reviewed the license agreement before you become a member of any PLR site. They should either have a copy posted to their website or be able to send you one.

4) Ask To See Samples Of Their Content- Before you start buying articles you really need to know if the articles you are buying are high quality or total crap. The vast majority of PLR membership sites will either have samples of their content available on their website or will freely send you samples if you request them. If you have no way of viewing their content before you join then you should probably look elsewhere.

5) Know the source of the PLR content- Some PLR membership sites get all their content from one source so although they limit the number of memberships available, in reality their articles are available to potentially thousands of other people. Ideally you want to join a PLR membership site that creates the content available to members themselves.

6) Does the PLR site use a credit system?- A PLR membership site that uses the credit system is really great because rather than paying one membership fee and then having access to all of their content, much of which you might not use, the credit system allows you to only pay only for the content you actually use. As of this writing there are very few PLR membership sites who employ the credit system. I predict that the credit system will likely become more widespread because it allows the PLR sites to increase their gross revenues while at the same time limiting the use of their content. The credit system is a big win for both the creator and buyer of the PLR content.

If you follow the guidelines above and chose the right PLR membership, you can have access to a goldmine of information. A really fantastic example of a PLR membership site is proplrpackages.com They have great articles on profitable subjects, reasonable membership fees, a broad PLR license that allows you to do just about anything with their articles (other than sell the PLR license), and they are one of the few PLR membership sites who currently use the credit system rather than the flat fee system.

It’s also worth noting that there are many ways to make money with PLR articles and there’s a real good chance that you don’t know about all of them. I suggest taking a look at How To Turn PLR Into Cash and Build A Massive Opt-In List by Reed Floren and Stephanie Mulac. This report is packed with awesome ideas you probably never thought of before and, best of, it’s only .

Good luck with your PLR ventures!

4 Key Steps Before You Start Your Own Online Business

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

When you start an online business, do you want to pass the successful people and to try everything by yourself? How to start online business is not a guesswork, where every newbie tries to invent how to start my own online business by trying and trying.
If you want to start your online business that way, stop reading now, this article is not for you. But if you want to follow another, proven route starting an online business, keep on reading. Here comes the method, I recommend.
1. First, Make A Self Research.
Sounds funny, but you will be the engine for your online business and it is very useful to do everything so, that they will utilize your strengths. Starting online business after this research means, that it will rest on a solid rock.
Make a tour to your history, school years and other meaningful happenings and think, what were the things you liked, where you were especially good at, and bad, what others said about you and so on.
The target is to clarify your skills, professionalism, wants, talents and style. When you start your online business, these are very important and already at the very beginning. You see, your online business start will be different depending, whether you are HTML, product or marketing oriented.
Finally do a brief summary about yourself, a profile, which includes all the major features of yourself. It is like a list of your technical data, which is the starting point, when you direct yourself further.
2. Find A Proven And Respected Marketer.
When you start your online business, it is extremely important, a must, that it starts to go to the right direction right in the beginning. Who else can guide you, than a proven and respected marketer. The better, if his online business idea is based on the tutoring and helping newbies.
There is one thing, which is very useful and that is your own website, which you can customize later. This is the tool by which you will start to build your own brand. There are principals, who offer this service too.
The requirements for your principal is that he can offer the full set of tools and help: DVD, ebooks, email courses, training pages online, online marketing forum and quick online help. These will offer you a great help, when you start your online business.
3. I Recommend That You Start Your Online Business As An Affiliate.
To start as an affiliate is the best way, because it is easy and offer you a full set of marketing material, tutoring and needed tools. The merchant has done so much ready for you, which you just cannot do by yourself.
4. Be Realistic With The Timetable.
When you are about to start your online business, you are very enthusiastic and are waiting big money overnight. That is not realistic. The realistic way to think, is to understand that online business grows step by step and it takes a couple of years, yes years, to make a decent income. Forget millions right away.
As you see, the method to start your online business successfully is simple, like all successful methods are. I recall once more about the fact, that you have to research yourself, before you will start your online business. Do it, you will thank you later on!

What You Need To Do Before Submitting Your Plr Articles

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Get back to basics before you submit your private label rights (PLR) articles to online article directories. Think back to your earlier school years and dust off those skills you thought you might never use again.

If you’ve got a product or service to sell, you probably have a web site. If you don’t, you need to either get one or use affiliate or PLR sites, and then take some time to determine what kind of content you need to both attract and keep your reader’s attention in order to sell your items.

Next take a look at the PLR articles you have. Of course, the first thing to do is to make sure that the content you provide is well written and informative. Grammatical or other kinds of mistakes that come from poor writing skills are going to drive readers (and thus your traffic) away faster than anything else you might do. So go through your PLR articles, revise them to fit your marketing needs and edit them as needed.

Then before you rush off and add your byline or resource box and submit them to article submission services or directories, check the content in your articles to make sure that you haven’t made the following mistakes:
1. Don’t forget to provide useful and accurate information in your articles.

If you’re submitting your articles to generate leads and promote your products as well as your web site, you’ll want to provide articles with content that has truly interesting and accurate information that’s useful to the reader. Even though you’ll want this information to be “teaser” information that will cause him or her to come to your web site and purchase the products, and it still has to be both targeted and informative.

So avoid any hype or other useless information whose only purpose is to drive traffic to your site, word about this will get around very quickly and this will actually hurt your traffic and therefore your sales. Make sure that the information you provide is absolutely targeted for your reading audience and useful to the reader by itself, not just as a means to sell your product or products.

2. Don’t forget to take every opportunity available to market your articles – and then look for some more opportunities.
After you’ve made sure that you provide valuable information to your reader in your articles, look for ways to promote, promote, promote with the articles to increase traffic to your web site. Among the first of these are keywords. Although search engines are becoming increasingly “smart” and you can no longer pad your articles with keywords the way you used to in order to get noticed, you can carefully include keywords sparingly in your article content that truly is relevant to what you’re talking about. This will increase links to your site and therefore, more search engine results will bring your site up in the results.

Also look for other marketing means like using snippets of you articles on blogs and in forum posts, and tagging them in social networking sites as helpful resources for others. And there’s always pay-per-click, pointing readers to your articles.

3. Don’t break the rules. Before you submit to directories, make sure that you meet their guidelines.
Internet writing is a special kind of writing, in that what you say it needs to be in relatively short and to the point, with eye-catching headlines that will make the reader want to check out the content. Then make sure that the articles you write are both free of character errors (i. e. run your content through a text editor first like Notepad) and easy to read, and that you have the allotted number of hyper links in the body of the article(s) as well as the resource box.

By taking these few steps, you’ll ensure that your web site gets the publicity you need and you’ll be able to increase your traffic and return on investment in turn. It pays to take a time out to check these few things first when using PLR articles.
