4 Point BluePrint For Newbie Online Marketers
By Joe Kiguru

Every year, millions of people come onto the internet with the hope of commencing a successful online home business. However some soon realize that it is not a bed of roses and struggle to come to terms with the new reality. In the end some become disillusioned and give up.

If you intend to commence or have just started a home business, these are a few tips that will help you get the business on the right footing.

First of all, ensure that you are cut out to do business. You’ve got what it takes. Business requires one to be self driven, innovative and have the ability generate motivation and initiative from within. Undertake a self assessment and evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. Then if satisfied, choose an area of home business that you are passionate about or familiar with and that which can generate good returns for you.

Secondly, the online home business is not a ‘cup of tea’. You have do away with this misconception. Like any business out there, rewards come only from the effort made. There is nothing like success with minimum or no effort. There are procedures and rules that have to be followed. You have to learn these and undertake training before you become successful. However it is comforting to note that the online home business is much easier to undertake and more rewarding than most of the other businesses.

Thirdly, you have to become focused. Many newbies become overwhelmed by all the information that is available in the internet and suffer from an information overload. They simply do not know where to begin. When they decide to pursue a particular area, another ‘better’ offer pops up with promises better returns and they therefore become confused over what to do.

Many successful online business people including the guru’s will tell you that they all started from somewhere. They become focused and pursued a specific direction, reaped the benefits and then moved on. Have selective amnesia and become focused on the area you are pursuing.

The final point that many newbies make is indecision. Many of them want a business, but never ever go round to starting one. In other words, they make a decision, but never take action. Decision without action is dead meat. You’ve got to wake-up and do something however small and then a little more tomorrow and before long you are on your way to a successful business. The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step the Chinese say.

Similar to this is procrastination. In this case the newbie knows what you wants and has made a decision and has gone ahead and commenced the business. However they remain unsure of how to achieve their goal. So each day, they sit and hope that they will start the business or do something small in the business and then give up. The solution is to start and make a decision not to turn back. That is burn the bridges behind you.

3 Mistakes I See People Make When They Try to Earn Money Online
By Dean James

Here are three common mistakes I see time and time again when I read forums and speak to people that are struggling to make an income online.

1) Buying More Than They Need – When people try to make money online they inevitably end up signing to a bunch of newsletters and end up buying quite a lot of products in the hope that one will show them the light and unlock their path to riches. What usually happens is they end up with so much stuff they go into information overload and instead of actually sticking to a blueprint, they just can’t decide what to do or get distracted so quickly that in the end they feel burnt out before they’ve even given anything a proper go.
