Question by MIke: Can u do freelance work while receiving unemployment benefits?
I just lost my job due to business closure and now under unemployment benefits (450/week). Im a graphic designer and wondering if I can do freelance work till I find a full-time job?

Yes you can BUT you must declare it and your unemployment will be cut. If you do not declare it, they will find out and you will be charged interest and penalties and possible prosecuted for fraud.
