So you would like to startup a new small business, but find a million and one reasons not to. To name just a few:

  • The economy is bad right now. I’ll wait until things get better
  • You feel you don’t have the funding or perhaps do not have access to funding
  • The lack of experience running your own small business

Starting a Home Based Business Takes Preparation
By Bob Hamilton

Many would-be home based business entrepreneurs find the list of choices almost beyond belief. They find there are so many businesses to choose from that they can not make a selection even though they know they want a business of their own. Instead they remain frozen, and take no action. You may recall the bounce in your step and a rush of adrenalin when you finally made the decision. You may even recall telling everyone you knew about it, making endless lists of ways this would work and within no time at all, you had begun. (more…)

5 Tips to Kick Your “Time-Wasters” Habits
By Anne Bachrach

It seems like the world is running at such an accelerated speed that we barely have any time to catch our breath. We start the day running out the door at full tilt; only keep going until we crash into bed from exhaustion. Then we get up and do it all over again day after day.
